Trust & Privacy

Privacy And Compliance Designed Into The Architecture

Your privacy. Clear decisions. A way to be heard.

Trust means clear rules, understandable decisions and a practical way to challenge them.

GEX’s intended design combines meaningful consent, accountable records and human moderation. Publishing restrictions would remain separate from access to your personal archive.

We intend to explain what information is needed, why and who can access it. Where possible, identity documents and unnecessary personal history would stay outside the shared SMP core.

Updates and advertiser offers would be separate choices from holding a Digital Key. Declining an offer should not remove purchased benefits. Where suitable, eligibility checks could confirm a fact without revealing its underlying details.

Less disclosure does not guarantee anonymity. Linked proofs and account records can still identify people. Privacy and security depend on the complete design, including recovery, providers, access controls and retention.

SMP would connect holders, entitlements, consent and authorised transactions beneath familiar applications. A Digital Key would not automatically confer copyright, unrestricted use, permanent service or resale rights.

Clear rules and reviewable records should also guide disputes.

Illustrative concept—not a live interface.

Automated tools and reports would flag possible violations for human review. Content may be hidden or posting limited temporarily while safety concerns are assessed.

An authorised human would consider the content, context, policy version and user’s explanation before GEX’s final moderation decision. Where permitted, the notice would identify the affected material, rule, reason, restriction and appeal route, while protecting reporters and third parties.

You could challenge the decision through further human review, separate from the original reviewer where practicable. A final internal decision would not close every external remedy.

A dispute should start with evidence – not a support loop.

SMP would preserve a structured decision trail, make changes detectable and support controlled disclosure for disputes.

Capture the decision and affected account/content references, action, policy version, reason, time, automated flag and human approval where applicable.

Preserve notices, the user’s explanation and requested remedy, appeals, replies and account-status changes.

Use signed, timestamped receipts. Add corrections and reversals to the history rather than overwrite it.

Combine a plain-language summary, timeline, evidence index, relevant policy, decisions, unresolved questions and requested outcome.

  1. Provide a controlled package to an agreed arbitrator or competent external body under its authority and rules.

Integrity receipts help detect changes after preservation—not prove an allegation, input or decision is correct. Fairness and facts still require human judgment and, where applicable, independent review.

Committed to Privacy and Trust Through Innovation

Our aim is not to claim perfect moderation. It is to make decisions explainable, mistakes reviewable and personal archives accessible without restoring prohibited public activity.

A posting restriction should not erase your memories.

Even if posting is restricted or your profile hidden, we intend to retain secure private access to decisions, dispute updates and downloads of your own stored archive – including posts, memories, images and videos.

Exports would not authorise republication of prohibited material. Illegal content, third-party private information and lawfully restricted material may be excluded or handled separately, with reasons and review where permitted.

Identity checks and secure recovery or assisted export would protect against account takeover. Retention, export formats, processing times and deletion notices must be specified before launch. Export would not guarantee indefinite hosting or permit copying others’ licensed content.

Independent arbitration, with clear limits.

We intend to package eligible unresolved disputes for independent arbitration, including the user’s position, GEX’s reasons and relevant evidence.

Only necessary material would be disclosed through scoped access and redaction. Lawfully required disputed content would stay in protected case material, not a public record. Access and onward disclosure would be logged.

The provider, eligibility, costs, time frames, remedies and binding status must be established and published. Consent-based release would remain distinct from lawful compulsory disclosure. Participation would not exclude non-excludable rights or appropriate regulator or court complaints.

The TIO briefing is a proposal, not an agreed service or government endorsement. SMP cannot create ombudsman jurisdiction or compel platform disclosure; external review depends on the body’s remit, powers and process.

GEX + SMP would send every community-policy flag to a human for the final decision, with temporary safety controls as needed.

GEX + SMP would provide a reasoned notice and recorded human appeal history.

GEX + SMP would prepare eligible unresolved disputes for independent arbitration once the provider and rules are established.

GEX + SMP would provide a minimal-disclosure case package for a competent body acting under its own powers and process.

GEX + SMP would keep secure profile access and lawful archive export separate from publishing restrictions.

Help us build trust into the experience.

No. Human final say is GEX’s internal decision; eligible unresolved disputes could still receive independent review.
