Entertainment is GEX’s first adoption wedge, spanning creator content, music, film and other digital media. It is intended to establish users, transactions and operating evidence for the underlying protocol.

GEX is designed so creators retain copyright in their work. Creators grant only the permissions defined in the applicable release and distribution agreements.

GEX is being developed as a Web2/Web3 hybrid, separating regional personal information from digital ownership and settlement records. The architecture is designed around data minimisation, consent and privacy-preserving verification.

The GEX Academy is being developed to help creators prepare professional releases, understand their rights and strengthen their commercial readiness. Planned support includes education, practical tools, partner clinics, meet-ups and regional roadshows.

The GEX Foundation is intended to administer eligible charitable allocations connected to creator campaigns and marketplace activity. Its planned framework includes creator-directed giving, independent oversight and transparent impact reporting.
