For Fans

fandom on your terms

Closer to the creators you love. Clearer about what you receive.

GEX Entertainment is more than something to watch or hear. It is a connection to the people who make it. GEX Entertainment is being developed to bring fans closer to creator-led releases, with clearly defined content, benefits and terms. The aim is simple: enjoy the work, understand what you receive and choose how you participate.

know what you get

Support the work. Understand the offer.

A film edition, music release or membership could bring you content, behind-the-scenes material or a shared experience. Each release would explain what is included, how long access lasts and what conditions apply. You should not need specialist technical knowledge to understand what you are buying.

what your key means

A digital key, in plain language.

In GEX’s proposed model, a digital key would be the record connecting you to a release’s access, benefits and any permitted transfer rights. You would see the entitlement through a familiar account experience.

A key would not automatically give you copyright, unlimited use, permanent access or the right to resell. The release’s terms and applicable law would define what you can do.

Access Defined Benefits

Enjoy the content, access and benefits clearly defined for each release.

Creators Retain Copyright

The creator retains copyright ownership of the underlying work created.

A Fairer Advertising Relationship

GEX is exploring voluntary advertiser offers for eligible holders. You could choose whether to participate and receive only the benefit described in that campaign.

The intended principle is that declining an offer should not remove access or benefits you have already purchased. Campaign permission would be separate from holding a key. After a transfer, the new holder would make their own choice.

Where suitable, an eligibility check could confirm what an offer needs without revealing your full purchase history.

Eligible holders may receive creator-approved offers associated with the Content Keys they hold. If a qualifying campaign is funded, part of the advertising payment may be allocated to eligible current holders.
